When to choose a textile shade?

To cover children’s play areas, allowing outdoor play even during hot periods, provided that play equipment platforms do not exceed a height of 1.37 m.

TUYO Habitat is the TUYO family dedicated to the design of outdoor shading elements. Through textile shade systems and pergolas, we develop solutions that provide climatic comfort, protection and a real improvement in the use of space in both public and private environments.

TUYO Habitat proposals are developed following a modular approach, allowing each intervention to be adapted to the specific conditions of the site and the requirements of the project.

Origin

TUYO Habitat emerged from the need to incorporate shade as an essential element of outdoor space. High temperatures and the lack of protected areas limit the use of squares, schoolyards, play areas and spaces for staying during large parts of the year.

In this context, shade is no longer a secondary addition, but a necessary condition to ensure comfort and the continued use of outdoor spaces.

Design criteria

TUYO Habitat brings together textile shade systems and pergolas designed under a shared project approach. A modular logic that allows each solution to be adapted to site conditions and the specific needs of each project, while maintaining formal coherence and construction quality.
